Retiring from a career in engineering, I took up writing to pass the time between golfing. I quickly began to enjoy writing, urban fiction, and urban history, which in some Instances has been obstructed or altered after publishing my first works. I decided to take classes at a local college. This helped develop and horn my writing skills. As Well as enhance and placed tools at my disposal.
Reaching back in time allows me to bring to life the history. Penning my stories allows me to develop a better narrative. One that illustrates firsthand knowledge of events. A way of writing about a history that has been deleted or ignored. A method of reviving and preserving it for future generations.
I have now penned Five books and published Three to date. I’m currently working on several projects. I hope to write a play someday.
A graduate from California with a BSME degree and Trinity College with a master’s in theology. I am married forty years with six children, five boys, one girl. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams.
While I write about urban fiction, some romance, Mystery, and Thrillers. When society was young: Like the days of the roaring 20s, or the great depression, war years of the 40s and, the cold war era of the '50s & '60s, early 60s & '70s. The civil rights movement of the ’60s & '70s, the civil disobedience of the Vietnam War, the flower children, psychedelic acid dropping, the ugly drug wars, and the many conspiracies.
The years I grew up in were full of many facets of demonstration and rebellion, Civil unrest. Yet it was in this period where vast development was discovered; man’s first trip to space, putting a man on the moon—discovering penicillin, national annihilation of polio, and smallpox. In the era of music, Motown and Chess records developed and wrote love songs. Music played on real instruments by real people—the computer, ATM cards, credit cards, pagers, cell phones, and the internet.
